Project Objectives: The goal of this project was to evolve the Being a Writer product to better align with the new edition of Being a Reader, the reading module complement in Collaborative Literacy. By making these changes, the product as a literacy block competes more effectively with larger publisher offerings in the highly competitive educational market. Previously, Collaborative Classroom had focused primarily on publishing supplemental materials to use in tandem with, or to fill in the gaps of, established competitors’ curricula.
